Nick Offerman Joins Gay Dude

Alongside Megan MullallyIt remains a pop cultural crime that the talents of Nick Offerman as Ron f*****g Swanson and the rest of the Parks and Recreation team aren't appreciated to the same level as other sitcoms. But now the wider world will get a chance to experience his skills as he and real-life wife Megan Mullally (who plays his ex on the show) have joined the cast of comedy Gay Dude. Nicholas Braun, soon to be seen over here in Kevin Smith's Red State and Hunter Cope are starring as two best friends who make a pact to help each other lose their virginity before their senior prom. But then things take a turn when Cope's Matty tells Braun's Michael that he's gay. Offerman is on to play Braun's father, while Gary Cole will be Cope's conservative patriarch. Mullally is playing his mother, while The Hurt Locker's Brian Geraghty is on to play his annoying older brother. The Parks and Rec connection goes further as Alan Yang, who is usually found toiling away on the show wrote the script, which landed on the Blacklist. That, combined with the solid cast, makes us think this could rise above the subject matter. Chris Nelson is already calling the shots on the movie.

Check Out the First Pic of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Yesterday we got our first look at Superman. Before that, it was Batman and Bane in an all-out brawl at City Hall. And now we have our first image of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) in 'The Dark Knight Rises.' We almost forgot that Catwoman was even in this thing after all the Bane updates of late, but even though we're still not really sure what high-tech sunglasses have to do with cats, this is nevertheless one of the coolest teases we've gotten so far. Go ahead and check out the image in full to see why: That's right, people. She's riding the Batpod. Unless this is gonna be one of those stories where Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne start getting frisky with each other and she needs a ride to go pick up bagels and coffee in the morning, something tells us she just stole Batman's wheels. Which is awesome. Still can't believe we have to wait until July 20, 2012, to see Hathaway take that baby for a spin, but something tells us this isn't the last Catwoman teaser we'll be getting. (UPDATED) Just found two new images from the fine folks over at JoBlo of what may or may not be an Anne Hathaway stunt double driving around the Batpod. Awesome. What do you guys think of Catwoman's new look? [via JoBlo] Photo courtesy of Warner Bros.
